Rapid response Health and Social Care provides consultancy services in emergency psychiatric, psychosocial, and physical assessment of patients, risk assessment and management, treatment plans, and care management. When a trauma-informed patient demonstrates signs of imminent clinical deterioration or have psychiatric disorders, medical organic brain disorders or substance abuse problems, a team of providers is consulted to immediately assess, diagnose, treat, and care for the patient.
The team helps reduce patient anxiety through several methods including the use of effective communication, active listening, therapeutic engagement, medication administration, and CBT.
